It’s not everyday that you get to meet an Angel! OK, OK maybe it was not a real Angel who greeted me at the Smile Pod dental clinic. However manageress Angel sure did float like an Angel and come to think of it she looked more like a tooth fairy to me!

With my regular yearly check-up well over due, hoping that my dentist Elaine would not spot the signs the check-up begins. “How many times do you brush your teeth”? Elaine asks. Feeling like the godfather (with cotton ball cheeks) barely being able to speak, I mumble - “The first thing I do in the morning is brush my teeth and sharpen my tongue then try to brush in between meals and last thing at night”.

My 'confidental' dentist is impressed with what she hears and gives my gums the thumbs up. She goes to work in my mouth using her sophisticated high quality cleaning equipment and after her 40 minute – High-Gloss Diamond Polish treatment has finished. I ask Elaine if she ever thought what Mona Lisa was really hiding behind her enigmatic smile. Perhaps it was the fact that she had never taken a trip to the dentist? LOL!! Only Leonardo da Vinci knows the smile tale - Elaine looks at me and laughs. Why? Because she has fine teeth off course!
