FEMALE PIED PIPER FIGHTS CHILDHOOD OBESITY EPIDEMIC
Dubbed, a female Pied Piper, Amanda Frolich is single-handedly fighting the childhood obesity epidemic in a unique way. Amanda runs interactive baby and toddler workout sessions incorporating music and movement. Amanda uses a unique blend of music, toys, dance and energetic exercise so that children have great fun whilst keeping fit and healthy. The workouts also incorporates a strong educational theme so parents are happy that their children are having fun and keeping fit and active whilst also learning."Fitness can be such fun and the beauty of my classes is that the children just think they are playing when really they are learning and keeping fit and healthy."
Amanda’s classes have been running for 12 years in West London and have been having a marked effect on the fitness and wellbeing of children that attend. Her previous career in the sport and leisure industry means she is well placed to ensure that her baby and toddler workouts are both fun and functional and get results.
Amanda says ”Fitness can be such fun and the beauty of my classes is that the children just think they are playing when really they are learning and keeping fit and healthy. I get them moving, stretching, jumping, marching and they love every minute of their time with me. I’m planning to take my concept into toddler homes via TV as if they can keep moving, exercising and having fun now they’re more likely to develop into healthy adults and we can fight this obesity epidemic head-on.”
